Technology
Electronics and computer-assisted equipment enable us to treat our patients with a high standard of care. New technology in digital imaging, tooth colored crowns and fillings, root canal treatments, periodontal and oral surgeries, implants, grafting and restorative treatments help make our patients' visits more comfortable and effective.
State-of-the-art facility
The facility has 10 state-of-the-art patient treatment rooms with full digital capability.
Paperless
Patients have electronic charts which enable immediate information access and integration. Treatment is coordinated more readily and insurance forms are filed through E-claims more efficiently. This charting method also dramatically reduces paper usage and is an excellent way to be conservation wise.
Digital
Digital X-Rays dramatically reduce the radiation the patient receives and increases our ability to access and diagnose dental conditions. We can also readily share this information with other doctors as needed.
Evidence-based Dental Library
The Center for Oral Health is the home of the Evidence-based Dental Library, an online resource for oral health professionals to access evidence-based tools to incorporate research into practice. This office uses the most current research and evidence to customize treatment to individual patient circumstances. ebdLibrary.com
Cone Beam Computed
Tomography (CBCT)

Cone-beam imaging is the latest exciting development in dentistry. It yields a 3D scan of patients' dental anatomy. This scan allows dentists to assess the patients' bone quality and quantity and shows a more accurate picture of associated anatomical relationships than traditional x-rays.
This 3D imaging allows implants and crowns to be placed with more accuracy. Impacted, hidden or missing teeth and difficult to detect nerve canals can be precisely located. This powerful 3D image can also help the dentists to diagnose periodontal disease and anatomical defects.
The GALILEOS 3D X-ray scan takes only 14 seconds. With a patient exposure time of 2 - 6 seconds, the pulsed imaging technology leads to a low radiation dose. The GALILEOS reconstruction program calculates the entire image volume from the data of the 200 individual exposures that are generated with a pulsed scan - after a total of seven minutes the image appears on the screen and is ready for comprehensive diagnostics.
Implants
Implants allow not only the replacement of teeth but also the securing of loose dentures. The entire implant process from the surgical placement of implants to the aesthetic and functional restorations can be completed in our office.
Cerec® crowns
Dr. Miller and Dr. Bates have hundreds of hours of training in the most current advancements in dentistry. This technology includes computer-assisted design of crowns. With our powerful software and advanced equipment, we can quickly custom-design a tooth-colored Cerec® crown that is milled in
our own office. Cerec uses a combination of infrared imaging, computer CAD CAM design and a precise milling machine to help complete the entire process in about 2 hours from start to finish - all in one appointment! No impressions, no temporaries and no return appointments two weeks later.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
Platelet Rich Plasma is an exciting, cutting edge development in the medical and dental communities. This technology has made headline news and been a topic frequenting TV shows with its capabilities of helping athletes heel quicker and more effectively than was previously capable. The patient's own blood is separated out to isolate blood plasma that is enriched with platelets. PRP is a concentrated source of autologous platelets. These cells contain and release several different growth factors (cytokines) which stimulate healing of bone and soft tissues, resulting in more effective and rapid healing.
We are excited to offer these advanced dental restoration alternatives to you. It is an important part of our commitment to help you keep a healthy, great-looking smile for a lifetime.
